How to recover a Facebook stoled page ?

Yesterday I got a mail from one of a reader of CrazyLearner. he write

” Hi, so, here is my problem. I have a 60 k likes page and it’s about “love”. A lots off pepole ask me for admin, and in the past few days a girl ask me for admin. So… I did it. I give her a admin and after 3 day she’s make me Content creator and i can not kick her out from the page. Now she’s making adversing for her pages… I have some chance to get back to My admin Acces ? ”

First thing i want to say is that from above the Lesson learned never to let someone be an admin unless you actually know them as a person.

And you are unable to handle the page and you need more admins then Dont make them manager… Just make them content creator .

In such a case FB is limited to this:

If an unauthorized person gains admin status, we encourage you to contact them directly to resolve this matter. Unfortunately, Facebook is not able to reinstate you as an admin for any group or Page.

I think you should contact them and report a “stolen identity”/”identity theft” which can be more serious in nature. But they may simply block you page until you provide them with more serious documents like a notarized request, photo IDs, and/or even a police complaint copy as they ask in the following form…

Not very sure about what steps you should take to get your account back.

Why don’t you talk to your other admin friend(??) directly? See what he has to say on this…

Is that other admin a colleague and you both were working for someone else, like a website which wanted that FanPage and both the site and the FB FanPage are not owned wholly by you? And circumstantially, you had to add that other person as another admin? I guess that maybe something went terribly wrong between the site owner and you? I mean, is the site behind that FanPage yours? Too many questions here, but…

I think this is a strong possibility… but may be I am naturally a bit too suspicious and more-probing-sniffing-type in such cases.

To those who have victims of stolen account, I hope you will move on. It is just a page. Just report to FB that your page is stolen. There is a probability that it will be returned again to the rightful owner as long as you wait. But FB admin received tons of emails everyday that they could not answer your problem immediately.

Perhaps, you can start again. You have you style and secrets on how you achieve lots of fans on your page. That is your edge. The thief doesn’t know that and I am sure, they could not keep up with your old page.
